Story of IchiGo Swords 

Ichigo kurosaki is a human shinigami hybrid soul reaper and the main protagonist of the anime and manga series bleach. As a human with shinigami powers, ichigo is considered to be extremely special, which earned him the rarely used title "Substitute shinigami". Originally recruited by the soul reaper rukia to protect his home town from corrupted souls known as hollows, ichigo uses his superhuman spiritual strength (his soul), represented by his zanpakuto sword "Zangetsu" to fight for justice. Facing many challenges during his adventures ichigo releases increasing amounts of spiritual energy, imbuing his sword with even more power to form the bankai: tensa zangetsu (final release: heaven chain slaying moon).

Our carefully crafted real sword is inspired by ichigo's katana, including the high carbon steel blade (toshin) and it's iconic guard (tsuba) shape. This functional, metal replica is  36" long and comes with a wooden cord wrapped sheath (saya). The sharpened, durable blade is mono tempered and able to withstand strong impact, making this ichigo katana a functional, battle ready weapon. In between practice or fruit ninja sessions, this samurai sword is also a great home decoration or cosplay photoshoot accessory.
