34" Custom Forged Damascus steel Sword Handle NORMAN SWORD With Leather Sheath

The multiple layers of Damascus are well known. Aside from its toughness, the layers contribute to its aesthetic appearance as well. Damascus steel products are incredibly strong. Quality Damascus steel will not only provide a beautiful piece with an intricate design, In addition, the blade will have a sharp edge that will last for a long time.

Blade Detail: The blade is forged from 1095 and 15N20 high and low carbon steel with over 500 layers. Each of these 7 alloys is folded multiple times, then dipped in Ferric Chloride, which eats away at each metal differently Rockwell scale rating of 58 - This metal is tough and ready to work. Creating Damascus steel is still unknown to this day. The process has been lost for the past 500 years. Today, we fold several different sheets of steel together, dip in Ferric Chloride which eats away the metals at different rates to show the Damascus pattern.

  • It is a photograph taken from a catalogue. Since each blade is unique, you will get a knife that looks close to the one in the picture. The distinctiveness of the blades, however, may cause a minor variation in the handle wood's design

  • The sword knives have already been honed, but you can still sharpen them to meet your needs.
  • If you intend to take the product out of the packaging, be careful when doing so. When using, kindly keep your fingers away from the blades.
