Among the most distinctive aspects of this knife is the handle, which contains a carbon steel guard and a leather wrapped grip as well as a half circle pommel that is surrounded by a leather wrap. When you strike a mark on the leather, you will feel a full tang of the blade that is hidden behind the stitched leather as you strike the mark. A sword can be used as a decorative display sword as well as a tool for training and reenactment in addition to being used as a decorative display sword.
